Why Sith Do Not Become Force Ghosts
The Sith do not become Force ghosts in the Jedi sense. Jedi immortality depends upon surrendering to the Force. Sith philosophy seeks to conquer death through power, possession, and control.
Dark side practitioners instead pursue unnatural methods of survival. Some bind their spirits to temples or ancient artifacts. Others attempt to transfer their consciousness into another body. These practices preserve the self by resisting the Force rather than becoming one with it.
